CharlottiesPiggies

Hey, I would like a really good in depth book with lots of information on all piggy problems, I have seen the Diagnostic Guide to Guinea Pig Problems, however the name Vedra blah-blah seems to stir some sort of memory of her name on here? :-X

Can anyone recommend a really good book that will help me really understand them, I would like this book but I cant find out how much it is?

Some things in Vedra's book are OK but you have to bear in mind that she has no veterinary qualifications. The book wasn't proof read, either, so it's full of spelling mistakes and typos which annoys me and you wouldn't see that in a professional publication.

A good guide on illnesses that vets use is Diseases of Domestic Guinea Pigs by Richardson.

Yeah I have just seen that, it looks good £26.99 off of Amazon, I might see if the library has it first.

I thought Vedra was a vet ! I saw the book on the Rodentology Health page it's about £38.
I've got a Guinea Piglopaedia by Maragaret Elward&Mette Ruelokke(Mette is a vet with an interest in piggies)
Good little book cost about £10

yeah I saw that! I might attack the local library and see what I can find
