Last night(or early this morning) I noticed my sisters Gp walking weird. She’ll kind of fall over...
I noticed that her back leg(on her right side) seems to be the problem, I’ve been calling around for vets but the cheapest isn’t something I can afford($150 JUST to see what’s wrong) Someone I know said this could be vitamin c deficiency but she’s still eating, moving around and drinking water so I just want other opinions

I think your sisters piggie really needs to see a vet to find out what’s wrong with her, sorry I don’t think there are any other options really. Hope you get her sorted x

I'm sorry, but she needs to see a vet as an emergency. We can't diagnose the problem. Is there anyway you could get the money or maybe ask the vets if they can do a payment plan (my vets do this to spread the cost)

Good luck with your piggy x

Lol I’m not looking for a diagnosis, I was just hoping for other opinions on what this could be but thanks... I think lol

In your guinea pigs case Isnt asking what it could be a diagnosis basicly? Best off going to a vet and get an xray maybe. Is there any chance your guinea could have fallen from anything in the cage?

No one is having a go, they just dont want you to waste valuable time because this really needs a vet to have a look. If it was something like not eating, we could help you and your pig whilst you were waiting to see a vet

Hi! It doesn't sound like a vitamin C definiciency where a piggy gets very hoppy, more like a break. Your sister's piggy REALLY needs to see a vet as quickly as possible as she is likely in great pain.

Unfortunately we can only tell you what you need to do and when and how quickly you need to see a vet; we cannot replace a vet examination and vet care. Sadly far too many people neglect saving up for any necessary vet care as part of the weekly maintenance cost. There are no cheap pets and most of them will need vet care at some point or other. With guinea pigs accidents and serious illness can happen without warning and they cannot wait for days. :(
