My guinea pig boys are both making a mating sound, and I wondered why. We checked gender, so no opposite genders, and thought somebody might know.

Is it rumbling and bum waggling? Typical pig behaviour if so, it is what piggies do to show their dominance etc... have a read here Dominance Behaviours In Guinea Pigs All piggies go through these stages of bum waggling and mounting, they are just sorting out their hierarchy etc...

Welcome to the forum by the way

Thank you! No, they are rumbling and mounting each other, like they want to mate or something, since they are both boys I just thought it was a bit odd.
