Sorry to be a killjoy. It's a very cute video - but I agree with Stewart - there's too much of a risk of a Guinea Pig falling.

They could fall, but I'd liken it to the risk of a guinea pig falling off the side of the enclosure, or off the edge of the bed. As long as they're not being forced.

I can't say I agree with your assessment of risk. This is not a safe practice or one which I would feel comfortable to endorse.
