I have 2 guinea pig boys who are now about 6 months old. The usual dominance behaviour has been happening since the new year and one of them is now boss. I've noticed in the last week though the boss is starting to stop the other one from eating and even tries to block the exit to the bedroom so the other one can't get food. I've tried two food bowls but the boss one seems to manage to get at both bowls by chasing the other one away and the other hides away although he is eating its not as much as the other.

I was wondering whether anyone has any tips on what to do?

Ive just seperated two boys after a failed bonding for this reason! maybe you could try to rearrange the cage and see how it goes. if it continues though they will need to be seperated!

theres a story somewere about a bullied pig but i cant find it :(

thanks for that

I have been watching them for weeks and they go through phases of annoying one another and then they seem to be ok. When you do separate them they look for one another. I'll try a new arrangement and see what happens. Hopefully I won't need to separate them
