Guinea Pig Dreams?

Hi All,

Has anyone had any dreams about their guinea pigs or pigs in general? I had one last night, it was bizarre! In the dream I woke up to check on Cuzzy and noticed he had a tiny baby that looked like Sunshine in his cage, then I saw him give birth to another 3! One was like Cuzzy, one was dutch and another small black one that was so tiny!

But Cuzzy is a boar and when I spoke to he vet he said that Cuzzy appeared to be a boy on the outside but was a girl on the inside! 98)

What in God's name was that all about? I think because I've been nursing Cuzzy I've started dreaming about him and also I spoke to my aunt about her new pigs last night and the possibility that they may be pregnant before bedtime so I guess it all got a bit mixed up! ;D

Would love to hear anyone else's stories!

I had a dream about piggies before I got them..wasn't really that interesting but anyway. I was stood in my bedroom and looked at my bed and there were loads of guinea pigs running around on it and whenever they saw me they all lined up at the front lol then one of them started giving birth and the babies fell off the edge of the bed so I picked them up and gave them back to the mum...when I got it bed they all layed around me too lol..can't remember anything else XD
 
Well that's just sooooooooooooo bizarre! I dreamt of piggies last night too! I was running a gp rescue and cleaning out the hutches and all the piggies started talking to me! Haven't a clue what it means!
 
I dreamt that mine all escaped and were outside the front door and wouldn't come in when I called!
When I did eventually get them back, some weren't mine!

This was ages ago, but it was so vivid at the time and so emotional and hardwork getting them back in, I woke up sweating!
 
Oooh I had another piggy dream - just remembered cos you mentioned yours piglover :P

okay well my piggies were outside in the garden and there were loads of other piggies in there too that had escaped from next door (no one round here that i know of even has piggies lol) so we went round and they brought a load of hutches round so I started catching them and sorting them into the pairs etc and putting them in boxes and I can't remember what happened except i ended up keeping like 3 of theirs and they didn't realise lol. strange ;D
 
it isnt piggie but bird- i was walking in an avairy and there were loads and loads of macaws...then i woke up
 
I dream about guineas alot. The other night i dreamt that a whole load lived in a cave under my house, some had tufts of green hair in their heads and some had blue patches of fur :D
 
my duke dreams..his ears flap about lol its cute to watch and i see it often because he's so used to me walking around he sleeps through it!
 
i dreamed i had a house full of piggies before! that was a great dream.

i also dreamed i was giving bob piggy cuddles, and woke up half way through to discover i was acting out stroking him with my hand ;D that was confusing :o
 
i always get these LOL! haha i dreamt that they had wings and could fly once! ;D ;D 98)

Some aren't so good tho :'( usually wake up in a sweat if i have a horrible one :o :o :o

You're right tho, the closer you bond with a piggie you tend to almost live their lives with them :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I'm sure piggies have dreams, haven't you watched them sleeping? it's sooo cute, there little ears twitch and their back legs twitch and so does the nose sometimes :smitten: :smitten: ;D ;D ;D ;D
 
i had a really bizarre dream last night that terrified me, into never taking them to a piggy holiday place when i ever go on holiday :o

i dreamed i went on holiday and took bob and munchie to one of those piggy boarding places, and that when i got back and picked them up, the owner had shaved all their hair off :o and hadnt fed then any veggies and they looked so sad and ill and were kept in a tiny tank whle i was away.

it upset me and i woke up. i know it probably wouldnt ever happen, but I'm too afraid to leave the piggies in the care of anyone who isnt an immediate friend, who doesnt know them, maybe thats where the dream came from :-\
 
My freeaakky dream


I woke up and it was new years day, i went downstairs to get my guinea's food *only to travvel back up again* and i look in the cage and there are more hidy holes in there! I see patchy and he looks bigger than normal! I pick him up *the food disapeared ;:) and he is a rabbit!"!! then I run to the train station to tell me mum *who is gradulally turning into a boy :O * what happened! when I got back patchy the rabbit was still in the cage along with a disfigured rabbit!then you see like 20 other rabbits and my poor baby guinea's cowering in the food bowl

then I wake up!

Really scary dream! I saw a dream interpreter once and was told that often dreams actually mean the reverse of what they portray so maybe a holiday home would treat your guineas really well! I'm sure they would anyway.
