My guinea pig, peach, has been eating the coroplast on his cage for the past couple weeks. I'm not sure if he's actually digesting it because I did find tiny white pieces of coroplast in his cage, but not enough to account for the large area of coroplast gone. I took him to his other smaller cage to clean his big everyday one and he didn't poop in that cage and he hasn't pooped in the small cage or the every day one (that I can tell) I just want to know if he's going to be okay and what to watch out for.

I would watch him closely to see if he shows signs of not as active as he usually is or not eating but most piggies that have nibbled on the coroplast are fine. If he does not poop in a couple more days then it is likely he has digested some and you should take him to the vet to see if there are any blockages the plastic may have caused. You should cover up the coroplast with fleece or some material to break the habit and provide chew toys or huts, something for them to chew on. If it is not a chewing problem then they could be bored and want to play instead. Hope this helps.
