guinea pig eating wet hay

my guinea pigs hardly ever eat hay but yesterday it was raining and the hay got wet and they started to eat some of it?! so I'm wondering does wet hay still have same nutrion as dry hay lol?.they only eat a little bit and any tips for getting them to eat more dry hay. thanks
