We can only guess as to what may have caused it - the start of an infection, a bite/fight from a cage mate etc....
Please do have your piggy seen by a vet to have the cut checked

Does your piggy live with a friend?

It looks like it could be an injury or a skin condition, but it impossible to tell without having her seen by a vet.
 
Yes she live with an older female but I don’t think she could have hurt her, she doesn’t seem the type. I’ll have to book a vet appointment and get them to check it out.

Definitely a good idea to have her checked over by a vet to rule out skin conditions, some of choice could be contagious to humans.
