Guinea pig insurance ?

So we had 6 now 5 guinea pigs I looked up insurance for them a year ago when we had 3, but the fine print I seen they literally paid for nothing not dental, not X-rays , not pregnancy related (None of mine are pregnant or ever will be but) not if you accidentally cause them harm, or if friends do, nothing if weather is the problem, not of pest or anything Are causes. And don’t deal with after death etc , etc. So we didn’t get any because it wasn’t worth having. But we’ve had a lot of vet visits the past few months and want to look into it again. Any good guinea pig insurance?
 
I’ve not insured any of mine, I just keep a vet pot just in case.
 
I had insurance for my boys the first year I had them. When it came to renewal, I decided to cancel. Partly because the cost had gone up quite a bit and also I was paying out despite not using the service. It would have been more economical to put the money away every month.

You have to be careful with insurance and make sure you read the small print. There are two levels of cover and they don’t cover pre-existing issues for the first two weeks, or something like that.
 
I’m really bad at saving 😳. I was going to ask my vet if they had any kind of facility where I could make a standing order and just have an account with them that I can’t get at to spend on anything else! 🤣.
 
Ive looked into exotics direct and the amount of exclusions and clauses they have is alot...
Your pig has to be 3 months treatment free
Anything pre existing is not covered for 12 months
Not trying to put you of but if your pigs are healthy and you want insurance do it asap
