I was having trouble sleeping last night and as I'm sure many of you do, my mind wondered to guineas, Do you know they do guinea leads!
I can just imagine the damage that has been done by children dragging there guineas around the garden, who on earth came up with such a silly idea.

Yeah Ive seen them, altho our Sumo pig Fidget could do with a drag around the block now and again ,lol

In need of excercise then is he ;D

she

lmao yup she is,i think trips to the food bowl and back are enough for her,and if she did have a lead we wouldnt get one wide enough ;D

:smitten:

you love her really, you could always maker her chase the carrot round the cage to lose weight.

lmfao thats so true, ill have to get a pic sometime and show you, then again she sits still constantly so it shouldnt be hard ::)

You will have to make a little tread machine for her ^-^ toilet rolls and paper lol what a vision

we could design one between us and copyright it,like the piggy after taking exercises on the Egg advert ( in the pink leotard),well thats Fidget ;D ;D

this photo was taken years ago and is my daughters beloved scooby, he would only get any excercise if he walked on the lead I say walk he would run and you just followed we used it purely to keep hold of him he took US for a walk, my daughter found scooby would not walk anywhere in his outdoor run he just lie down, so we got this body stocking type lead its like a t shirt and very comfy he would then get about on the grass as you can see getting his excerise and he loved it, he was NEVER EVER pulled and throughly loved it, in fact he wriggled like mad when he had to come in, we have not used it since and that was about 4 or 5 years ago, so it was brought purely for a purpose and it worked ,he got fit and lost his porky belly

What a scummy yummy he is very cute but back to the lead, so they are a good idea if used properly but how many kids just drag there guineas around, but i have never seen a tshirt one, always been like dog harnesses.
T shirt one sounds nice,

he was a most amazing pig, carrie anne adored him and the day he died 3 weeks after his son scooby 2 was born she was inconsolable even her older brothers and dad were all crying becasue she was in so much pain with losing him unexpectedly( they all told me never to tell anyone they cried lol) too late done it, ;D ;D
he had a funny attitude he loved being carried around hence the porky little tum he was practically attatched to carrie anne thats why we had to think of how to get him to walk about,
now when scooby 2 does something she tells him your daddy would be very pleased etc bless her, he was handsome as well wasn't he, we even got her scrappy a spitting image of scooby when young but he grew hugh and has long hair, but still adored
the lead was attatched to a harness type thing that fitted like a t shirt with no sleeves, very comfortable I did find one in a pet shop for him but didn't like the harness it had a hugh buckle that looked uncomfortable I was going to make him one but found this one instead, and scooby most def took us for walk or should that be a drag across the garden, I've seen a bunny going for a walk on a lead but never a pig

that one is very similar but mines not got a buckle as such its velcro with a pull back tag to reinforce the strength if you know what I mean

Not only that, but they can injure their backs. It's obvious the manufacturer is in it to make money, not for the good of the animals.

Kimmie

I suppose you could buy one with a buckle and replace it with velcro but mine already had it or i would'nt have used it
