Guinea pig lice and scabbing

Thank you, I'm just trying to locate a vet that has a better understanding of small animals as the one I went to didn't seem to know much about Guinea pigs. I'll check the fleece I get and I was thinking to put a towel underneath

I hope you can get your piggy seen. Towels are fine but you may find that towels smell fairly quickly. They absorb but they don’t necessarily dry quickly enough which can make the fleece damp.

I wouldn’t risk it to be honest. You’re best to wait for the neem gel to arrive as at least you know that’s safe
Thank you I think I will wait I got fleece stuff today and it's in the wash now so hopefully the softer surface and the Neem gel when it comes with help them

Do still see a vet though as if it is bumblefoot, then it can require antibiotics.

I will when I can unfortunately I just saw a vet on Monday and they were not experienced in small animals and just gave me lice stuff.
