We have 8 pigs here and the names we call them by are generally shortened versions of their names.

However one of the forsters (gypsy) has amazingly large ears and my husband has nicknamed her BFG aaaaaand it's stuck! BFG is what she's called ALOT poor girl.

Anyone here have any nicknames for their pigs and if so how did they get it?

mine just tend to be shorter versions of their names

Cassandra gets Cassie
Inara gets Nar Nar or Narzipan :))
Aleera gets Leera

bit boring really lol

Llewelyn is my Llewi-boy (short for "Llewelyn - good boy"). He was SOOO shy at first, and it took months to bring him out.

Again just boring shortened versions of their names, but we sort of repeat the sound (making sense?) So...

Guinness = Guin Guin
Baily= Bay Bay

They are both "Little Man" too.

My Hamster is called Fudge and we call her Fudgeball as she loves her ball that she runs around in so we call her "Bally" quite a lot- she responds to it too! lol

x

Bradley is Brad, Bradders or Bradley Boy
Barney is Barn, Barneyboo

lol :))

Oh i must admit I'm the worst for calling my pets silly names at times normally when i am fussing them i talk to them like babys

Holly (cat) gets -Holster

Ruby (cat) gets - Ruby Tuesday

Ella(Rabbit) - other half started calling her Bunny and now thats stuck she just gets called Ella on here and at the vets

Binky (Rabbit) - Binksey boo

Trinny (GP) Trin Bin

Susannah (GP) Suse

Honey b - Honsey bunsey (she looks at me as if to say 'who you calling a bun I'm a piggy'

Jimmy - Jim Wims

Chocolate - Chocs

Joe - Joey

Murphy - Murphy wurthy

God after reading all of the above i think i am crazy my poor babies must think I'm nuts.:))

I've got a few.

Cassandra = Cassie (or Cass-Cass)

Keleigh = Keils (or Keilekins)
Betty = Bets ( or Betso)
Amy = Aims

Fiona = Fi-Fiona
Chloe = Chloe Closet
Zoe = Sowieso (German for anyway)
Bonnie = Bonnie Bonsai

Molly = Big Nose (or Mols or Molekins)
Diane = Muffin
Jenny = Jenny Always in the Way (she always gets in the way when I lift the top layer of fleece in the morning). She also gets called Jens, Jenekins and Wee'n****e (sorry about this last one :red)

ok

Well teasel cat - get called teasel weasel, weaselkins and huntress supremo (when she catches the rats)

Furby - gets called madam or minx
Cottonbud - gets called tinkerbell, snowbell, (and stop shoving your bum in my face!)

Out of the 16 we have not many have nick names we just call them by their actual names lol The ones with nick names are:

Champagne who we call Champers

George who we call Porgie (like Georgie Porgie pudding and pie)

Learoy who for some reason we call Pea Poy, Eee Oy, my fat little man and ginger baby hahahaha

Mouse who we call Mousy or Souse lol

Truffle who we call Truffy

and....

Jeffrey who we call Jeff or Jeffy

Learoy definately has the oddest nick names hahhahaha don't know why we started calling him those names. He's fat and ginger, so very cuddly boy lol
