Hello folks.
I’ve joined this forum for one purpose: To source your guinea pig manure if you live in London.

I’m a community food grower for a charity and primary school, but sadly other forms of manure are too smelly for urban use.
And so, I’m hoping to regularly collect manure from you if you’d be willing to collect it up over a period of time.

You’d be directly helping to promote the growth of supremely healthy veg on multiple growing spaces.
Huge thank you.

Nicholas.

Welcome to the Forum Nicholas.
What a great project, and I am sure we would have members who would be willing to help.

However London is a pretty big area, so if you can be a little more specific then we can update the title of your post and see if anyone lives nearby and can help out.

No worries and thank you for your support. My work in based around Carlton Vale in South Kilburn but I have an electric bicycle so would be willing to travel within reason from there of a radius nearish to 2 miles max to collect but preferably closer of course. NW6 5HE is the precise postal code.

Welcome to the forum
We have two gp’s and we compost their poos and hay bedding. It makes lovely compost, we also add all our kitchen waste from tea bags, peelings to paper towels. Hope you find someone around your area, it sounds a get cause x

Awesome. I guess you’re too far from me or use it all yourself?

I hope you find someone to donate their piggy waste it certainly makes brilliant compost. I have five compost bins on the go and have had a very productive veg plot for the last five years. It would be brilliant if you could find a rescue that needs to dispose of their piggy waste as this would give you a good quantity to work with.

I have updated the thread title so hopefully it will pull in any local piggy owners for you.
I think it is a brilliant idea and we even have a Forum article on this very topic.
