Hi everyone..

I'm very new to the forum so you've got to bare with me till i navigate my way around somehow lol.. My fiance and I are getting married on 19th July in Northern Ireland. We live in Devon and the problem we have is.. we dont know what to do with the piggies.. we've got 2 males and I've been thinking of how to find someone to look after them for me. Then paul suggested looking for a piggy forum.. We're going over to ireland at the end of the month for a long weekend.. then in July we'll be gone for the whole month. Does anyone know of an organisation maybe.. or of someone who'd be able to look after them for us. Of course we'd take them to the sitter and pick them up again when we get back and cover all food costs etc. It's been stressing me out for ages now as I would only leave them with people who are confident and experienced with them and where I know they will be well looked after.

From a very stressed out bride-to-be!
 
i think there is someone tht looks after pigs but I'm not sure i bet something will come up you could always google it.

Welcome to the forum. What areas are you driving past? Are you flying to Ireland or coach? I'm in Liverpool but would look after them for you if you were coming this way.

Thanks for the very quick responses!...

Louise.. we'll be driving past your way in July so it could well be an option as it will be on our way to Cairnryan. Thank you for the kind offer and i'll talk to Paul about it :).. In the mean time i'll keep looking for someone closer to Devon.. i'm just worried that if it gets too hot i wouldn't really want them to spend too long in the car. Do you have a spare cage? Our 2 are kept indoors. Will keep our thinking caps on :)..

That's what I was thinking too about the car but the offer is there if need be. :) I do have a spare cage and C&C and the girls could happily live in my living room. My herd are outside in the shed. :)

Looking back on an old thread Pampered piggies used to do boarding and they are in Oakhampton

If you look on pampered piggies link page there is one place in Barnstable and Bobtails in South Devon that does boarding
 
I am in Taunton, Somerset and I can piggie sit, I have a spare cage, all you need to provide is their feed unles you use Wagg Optimum.
