Hi there,

Just been doing some enquiries to various pet sitting companies in readines for a two week holiday. Does anyone have any recommendationss for pet sitters in High Wycombe or Bucks generally? what does everyone else do when they're going away for a longer period of time? I've used a pet sitting service previously but think I could find someone better! I would also consider boarding but they are in door pigs and very spoiled!

Thanks for any thoughts or advice.
 
I haven't used them but the garden centre in Bourne End takes guinea pigs. I believe you take your cage/hutch and their staff take them home as they love piggies! Worth a call anyway and I think it's a reasonable price. Good luck!
 
ooh, that sounds promising! That would be a short drive as well for them. I'll give them a call! I've also just found The Nibblery in Aylesbury so I might call them tomorrow as well.

Thanks a lot - it's really tricky to be sure that they get the right amount of love and attention whilst you're away! I've read some other posts on here and looks like everyone gets antsy when going away so that makes me feel a bit better!
 
Will you let me know how you get on as we might also need some sitters in the future if my family go away?

I'd offer to help but my husband says two is enough for now as much as I'd love to sit for more! x

I see you're in Maidenhead which isn't far from me at all. If it helps, I would love to look after your piggies if you were ever away! I have four girlies myself who live inside. Let me know if you want to discuss further :)
 
How sweet of you thank you. I think we'll be okay for our forthcoming trip as my folks are in Marlow but let's stay in touch! K x
 
btw, I just had a look at your piggies' blog - they are very handsome and well behaved at bathtime!
