Guinea pig sunflower seeds

Hello, can I give sunflower seed to my guinea pigs? It is seeds without the case. It is hard to explain. Basically any information I could find talked about how the case is bad for them, but nothing, if i give them the inside already. Any help would be appriciated!

No, they cant eat sunflower seeds/hearts. Seeds dont form part of their diet at all.
