Hi there,
I found these treats in Wilko and my guinea pig loves them but I'd like to know if the ingredients are safe for him to eat. Many thanks!

Sorry my friend, but this isnt that good for your guinea pig. Instead buy the meadow hay cookies ( also in wilko) And feed lots of timothy hay too👍 your thought was there 😊

I've already tried the meadow cookies but my little piggy wasn't impressed with them. 😣
But thanks anyway for the suggestion!
 
Piggies can be like humans - they love all the treats that aren’t good for the!

Have a look at the feeding guides which will give you some idea of foodstuffs to avoid.

Mine think a new hay or a chunk of cucumber is a treat. Occasionally a piece of carrot or apple makes a nice treat too.

Unfortunately they are not good for your piggies. Mine love the hay cookies that @Skypipdot mentioned and I have to give more than 1 of them to stop my piggies having a go at each other. Try them again as sometimes it takes a while for piggies to get used to something new in their territory (mine treat everything new with caution in case whatever it is tries to eat them!) Mine think veg time is a treat I also feed them forage stuff too. @Guineautopia has a website where you can order all sorts of yuymmy goodies for your piggies. Products – Piggie Parcels
 
You can get meadow hay cookies from the range too or pets at home, but pets home ones are a rip off

Last time the vet checked on him he said he's in a great shape! I'm doing my best to keep him happy and healthy! 😊
