guinea pig world forum - signs of life?

Hi everyone

I just checked out the guinea pig world forum

and it appears to be back up. The dates of the last posts are June 2008, and it won't let me log in.

does anyone know anything?

I heard that the forum you mentioned isn't running any more.

Plus I have to point out that it is against the forum rules to link to other GP forums, so I've had to edit it out

It was hacked, rather badly. Some accounts were deleted and the backup database had been locked. Steve rang me and said they have screenshots of the hacker but can't do anything, and from what I gather there is little more that can be done to revive the place.

P.S. Hope it's ok just to give Danni this update, Julie? Don't want to get into trouble. :{

thats a shame about the website - was my first piggy forum, learnt all my basic piggy stuff on there, i was very fond of it

It's awful that someone would take the time to do that to a forum
