Here is Alan trying to get to William - I had to split them up towards the end of William's life, due to trying to get him well. Unfortunately he died a few days later.

The twins knew something was wrong with William especially Alan who just wanted to be with him. Clive gave William space, but still tried to give him snuggles.

Piggies are so intuitive, anyone who calls them 'just rodents' have obviously not seen these guys in action.

thats heart breaking... :0
they obviously had a very close bond...
HUGS...
and R.I.P. william... popcorn over the bridge...
x

oh boy here i go again....... 8...8...8...8...

Yup you're so right......they know..... he just wanted to have a cuddle of his big bro ...... how sweeeeeeeeeet x)

Aw, that is so sad, i'm so sorry to hear about your loss, i have a tear rolling down my cheek after reading about them just wanting to be together, i don't mean to be ignorant, but who is who in the photo. xx

What a lovely picture and what a precious memory!

Piggies know exactly what and when something is wrong; I have seen enough examples of that!

Alan looks so long, and from the back William looks like the first piggy i had 'Sid' who was an American Crested awwwww the dog i had then 'Nancy' loved him, she used to go up to him and lick him and he loved it lol

awww miss them both, my first babies x)x)

What a beautiful photo. I hope Alan, Clive and yourself are ok x x

This photo made me well up!

We lost Storm last night and on way to vets Misty wouldn't leave her alone - she just wanted to be with her and Storm cuddled in close too.

So sorry to hear about William, popcorn free little boy x

Alan and Clive always look like lanky teenagers to me :)) Almost big boars now!

1lb 5oz an they are only three months old!

The overtook William when he was poorly and well they are just ginormous now! Weigh in again tomorrow.

They are solid 'little' things and I full expect them to get to about 2lb 5oz or so. HEFFAS! They are going to be BIG boys.

Oh what a lovely pigture for you to treasure. I totally agree, they are very special intelligent creatures!

Aww. I am so sorry.. That is a wonderful piccy for you to keep and love though. Goes to show that guinea pigs have deeper feeling and thoughts that we can only start to imagaine...

Hope its ok to ask but which one is Alan in the photo?

aaaw I'm so sorry for your loss hugs to you and your gorgeous boys

Aw what a lovely photo, beautiful.

Hope youre ok x

Piggies are so smart, especially picking up on things like illness. Whenever I was ill Rodney would always be extra snuggly with me

Of course - Alan is the brown and white piggie and William is the orange piggie.

William's the one who passed away a few days ago and Alan is now part of the twins ADHD Alan & Kamikaze Clive - we adopted them when Keith (William's brother) passed away.

Awwwwww goodness thats made me well up :( :(

I remember when Artie was a baby and he was suffering with a URI and eye infection I had Harvey and Artie in separate cages, but every day Harvey and Artie kept as close as possible. :( It was so sad to see, and this photo just reminds me of the bond piggies can have so so bittersweet:(
