Recently my two boars had been fighting so I separated them and reintroduced them.
The less dominant one (Papa) became the most dominant one during this rebonding session as we believe he was having a hormone peak.
5 weeks later, and the previously more dominant one (Pigwig) is growing more and more dominant, causing frequent chasing, rumblestrutting, teeth chattering and occasionally lunging.
While there have been no injuries, I am unsure what to do next and how this change in dominance will take place.
I’ve taken out their hideys as Pigwig kept cornering Papa.
Should I clean out their cage so it has unfamiliar scents or will that stress them out more?
Any other advice?
Thanks
