I AM GOING TO TELL EBAY ABOUT IT AND SHE OR HE WILL HAVE THEIR PAGE DELETED
SO IF ANYBODY WANTS TO GET IN TOUCH WITH THEM DO IT SOON.
JUST CLICK ON "CONTACT SELLER" AT THE TOP RIGHT HAND CORNER OF THAT PAGE

Just incase it gets removed soon and someone is interested the seller is - http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/hollyjanesmum/

Poor pigs, I know people will say the owners are stupid for trying to sell them on ebay but still, they could be a very genuine person who just can't keep them any longer and has no more options for them.

technically she is selling the hutch and giving away the guinea pigs as she has mentioned because selling the pigs does not conform to ebays rules, but it is still a horrible thing to do and she deserves to be reported. :tickedoff:

not surprising no bids at least if she is telling the truth she did rescue them what about Vedra she is in Cambridge wonder if she would have them or at least know of someone who would have them,

would you be able to get in touch with her
as i am new on this site i dont really know anybody

thanks

I'm glad people are helping

just hope this person replies to emails and phones vendra

I don't know what to make of it. She rescues them and then rehomes them to whoever wants them. x8) I live nowhere near so I can't help. I have reported them to ebay as well. O0

She did say she was selling the cage not the pigs :) but I still think its wrong! She should careully rehome them not just chuck them out the door to whoever wants them! :(

the seller probably doesnt know the rules, ebay are usually very quick to remove these kind of thing.

I might be that way on tomorrow......if a rescue can take them my mum works in Spalding which is about 15 miles away - if they can get to her she will be able to keep them for a week or so.

Its worth noting that if anyone does ever see guinea pigs or any other animals that before reporting them you should make a note of a telephone number & location. The posts are usually removed so quick that the chance of helping out the animals could be lost for ever....

She is also selling a tank with fish included for a nice price too :tickedoff:

Thankfully the guinea pig listing has been removed.

The fish tank isn't much better, she should advertise on a pet website not ebay. I read that fish listing and the tank is small for the fish that are in there. I used to keep tropical fish and more specifically cichlids. My tank was double that size for the same amount of fish pretty much.

It's like all animals they should have excess to maximum space.

I have noticed that her listing has been removed.
The fish are still there though
So i have reported again

Grrrrrrrrrrr selling the fish too :( Definitely not enough room in the tank for fish of that size :(

OMG! i can't believe that someone would sell animals onn e-bay! >:( >:( that's totally wrong! luckily it's been removed now (the pigs, don't know about the fish)

i bought 25 snails off eBay to put in my fish tank (they eat the fish poo!) they are only tiny at 2cm long. they arrived in the post but had been intercepted by royal mail with a warning message i think they thought someone was sending a malicious package ;D anyway they all arrived alive no casualties and now live happily burrowing through the shingle in my little fishtank. :)

Thats awful you say she rescues them then does that ? puts them on ebay ? disgusting .Ebay have said before when I have seen such ads they cant vet them all, but still they should check for pets for sale .

I brought some tropical fish off e-bay they arrived next day as stated no casualties and they are all still alive now 18 months on. I dont have a problem with fish as they are transported to the shops the same way as they were delivered to me ( bagged in a polystyrene box with a heat mat at the bottom ) the only problem is you cant see what your buying. As for Pets I dont agree with that they could be going anywhere

I emailed this seller and asked her about selling these piggies, and asked her if she had had any emails, cos somebody said they were going to tell vendra, so this is her reply.

"I have removed the listing and have contacted a rescue centre. I will relist the hutch at a later date once I have found home for the pigs"

which is good news i suppose.
