So my c&c cage is separated down the middle with Darcy living on one side and Daisy and peppa living on the other. The reason for this is Daisy and Darcy do not get on. When trying to bond them they had a bad fight resulting in Darcy spliting her lip. However, over the past few days all the pigs have been at the bars 24/7 sleeping next to each other and interacting. There has been a slight bit of teeth chattering between Daisy and Darcy but only a tiny bit. I'm wondering if I gave up to soon? If they where to live next to each other for a long period of time what's the chance of them being able to be bonded in the future? I'd love for Darcy t be in with Daisy and peppa but I wouldn't want to risk any unnecessary injuries. Do you think Darcy is coming to any harm not being able to actually get to the other pigs considering she still gets to spend time with them? (They have been in this setup since the end of august)

You can always try another intro on neutral ground and see whether the fear-aggression/overload has been allayed. A split lip is usually from a defense bite or swipe and not an aggressive bite. Please make sure that you have no hideys in the bonding area or in the cage during the first few days until you are sure that things have settled down.
Be prepared that it may not work out. Piggies have their own minds and don't necessarily do what we would like them to when it comes to bonding!
