Guinea pigs molting

Has anyone else noticed their guinea pigs molting yet? I picked my two up out of their run a little while ago wearing a black t shirt. I now look like a guinea pig myself ;D

I've not noticed anything with the short haired ones but Pudsey has molted he had a thick gorgeous coat being a rex and part texel now he looks bald. I did take him the vet when Tika had her jab but the vet said he was fine! :o And was just molting for the summer, will explain his narky knickers attitude to Eccles! ;D

maybe i am a 98) but could you please explain as i don't understand it ? ? ? find our animals fur or feathers all the jolly time no matter how much we brush them they are always losing hair/feathers and putting it all over us :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: drives OH crazy 98) me i don't mind O0 :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

at first when I saw the title I was like 'HUH?" over here in Texas we call it shedding as molting is something referred to what crustaceans such as crabs do. But i got what you mean now.
