I can get my gcse results tomorrow and after I get my results a few of my friends are coming round for a barbeque. My guinea-pigs are used to lots of people being around, because my sister has had parties in the garden before and I just put the guinea-pigs in their hutches and put the hutch covers on and they're fine, but I'm worried about the smoke from the barbeque. It's the other side of the garden to where the guinea-pigs are, and I've only got 2 of the little disposable barbeques but could the smoke affect the guinea-pigs? I can't really put them anywhere else, apart from move them around the garden to get them away from the smoke, but I couldn't put them in the house or anything. There will be about 10 people in my garden, which is a lot quieter than the amount of people who went to my sisters parties, so I don't think the people there will be a problem for the guinea-pigs.

Put a towel over the front of the hutch mybe aswell as the normal cover, depending on how hot it is at the time. The smoke should bother them too much if thier far enough away.
Goodluck in your GCSE's!

I would definitely put your piggies as far away as you can and also cover the hutch as mentioned above. Also watch if its windy what way the wind is blowing as it may still blow the smoke in there direction.
