Well Mr and Mrs Bekki2308 had a big arguement over the cat being allowed in the bedroom but the piggies/buns/hamsters etc not being allowed in even for cuddles so in protest Mrs Bekki2308 has moved her ferplast 140 into the bedroom with her 2 favourite boars in :D Luckily the cage is on a stand so it was easy to wheel it into my room but moving the chest of drawers required Mr's help teeeehheeeee I'm in the doghouse! But fair is fair! The cat stays in our room a lot so my pigs are too!

Ok some people might think its weird that the pigs are in an adult couples bedroom but I use the bedroom as my chill out space and he uses the living room (those are the only two rooms in the house that have TV etc so its like my living room when I dont want to be joined at the Mr's hip :D

Photos later ... the boys are like woah tv this rocks!

Aww I think it is lovely you have them in the bedroom with you. You will be able to spend a lot more time with them.

Hooray :D somebody who speaks my language. Just them being literally across the room will mean getting them out for a few minute cuddles is no effort at all :D and they scare the cat off <3

I speak the same language too - I can't see anything wrong with this arrangement, but it's a shame it's only two of your piggies in with you

The other two live in the spare room with the rabbits but they're far tooooo noisy to put in the bedroom! One of them is the loudest wheeker ive ever heard! The next door neighbours have commented on it!

My boars are cuddly and loving, my girls are moody things who were not handled before and dont really enjoy handling at all and they freak at free range time too :-( they spent many years sharing a small hutch with a rabbit with no human interaction sadly. A few minutes of cuddles is more than enough and they have had enough then.

I love having my piggies in my room :) all six of them... however its now a piggy room and I don't sleep in there! Too noisy.

My lounge IS my bedroom - and I now have the two foster boys sleeping 18" away from my head on the left side of the living room & Bumble and his 2 wifepigs on the right side of the living room - Truffles & Noodles are in my daughters bedroom :))

You guys actually rock!

guinea pigs in the bedroom is totally normal even in a house where there is enough space not to have them there ... thank you guys! Piggy kisses to you all

I must be the only person to be against pigs in the bedroom,
When I have had pigs in the bedroom they have all kept me awake with wheeking, drinking, rustling around then doing zoomies instead of sleeping.

Yup mine keep me awake occasionally, about once a week and on heat. But i find you do get used to the noise. Vegetables an hour before bed and a sunset lamp puts them to sleep while i snooze into deep sleep x

Outside my bedroom window IIS a train line that freight and steam trains use at all hours as well as passenger rains and at the other side of ny house is the main toad through my town .... And the cat jumps on me all night , the oh snores and the rabbits are on the other side of the wall , there is also upto 20 hamster wheels going and that's all before the kids next door start screaming and before furniture gets thrown and all hell breaks loose between their parents ..... A bit more noise is nothing :-D

This really made me laugh, I have a vision of a 50 foot Toad outside your house keeping you awake :))

I have all 5 of my piggies in my bedroom, I must say that their C&C cages take up a lot of room and there's not much space left for me but I wouldn't have it any other way :) I fall asleep every night listening to them eating their nightly pellets, slurping on their bottles and chattering, rumbling and wheeking at each other - I don't think I'd be able to sleep if the room was silent! :D

hahahahah typos and misspelling are a result of typing on a small screen touchscreen phone while on a bus going through bendy lanes haha

But yes a 50ft toad would be hilarious!

I had this exact same problem and them playing with a ball that has a bell inside that I didn't know they liked so much, I don't know what they had so much to talk about either. They apparently were also chatty cathy's when they spent a night in my mum and dads camper van :))

I am going to be moving them into my room permanently inbreeding but I'm going to give them a structured routine and hopefully get them to go to sleep...hopefully.. :))

I don't think I would be able to sleep with piggies in my bedroom, they are to noisy, and messy (kicking poops out the cage lol) and I'm also allergic to hay so would be sneezing all night! :)

I'm so jealous, i had my two in my room before and its lovely to hear them rustling around :))

<3 they have a cage with a deep base so no poops will get kicked out really :D its a lino floor so even if they did its easy enough to sweep up

They seem to like the tv too!

My adoptees are arriving tomorrow and I've got everything set up in my bedroom for them. I spend most my time in my bedroom due to health problems so it seems daft to have them in my front room when I'm never in there and them be all alone all day.

Besides I'll finally have something to talk to now when I'm bored instead of talking to my wall all the time (anyone remember shirley valentine :))
