Guinea Pigs - where to keep them during winter

Last year my guinea pigs were inside a shed; in their hutch but it also had a very think woollen blanket and cover.

This year they are inside an open garage, but in a sheltered position. Is that okay for them, they still will have the two covers?

Also, they are in a sage hutch from P@H which is two tier, they never use the top tier so looking for a longer single level hutch, any ideas?

On frosty or stormy days/nights, I would still give them a double protection.

For a new single tier hutch - have you tried ebay or preloved?
