hi.
it's my piggies' 1st birthday and i wanted to make it special.
are there any guinea-pig safe birthday cakes.
the pigs are Arthur Seymour and Ned. Arthur is adopted and lives in a separate hutch but he's loving life and Seymour and Ned used to have an adorable brother called squiggles but he had to be put down.
i would love to make them a cake to make their day just that little bit more special.

Maybe you could blend vegetables together and then freeze them? Just an idea, don’t judge me, my guinea pigs 1st birthday hasn’t even been yet!
 
thanks everyone for the awesome ideas (miss bramble is adorable btw) i made one by soaking nuggets in water, chopping up carrots, peppers and celery and mixed them up then made them into 3 balls and put them into 3 cupcake cases and put the in the fridge. then i got them out and put a basil leaf and a grape on top of each. it was like a birthday christmas pudding cake :)
i dont have a picture of them eating it but when i got back, there was nothing left

You may have missed the thread but the lovely Miss Bramble died a few days ago
 
oh my gosh I'm so sorry that you lost Miss Bramble.
i'm sure she was one of the best piggies ever
her face look similar to Authur's

i'm so sorry to hear that :(
you could get a canvas print with her on i did that with my piggies. they're super good and not too expensive. I got mine from mypicture.co.uk

Thankyou! She was a very special little lady. Luckily I have 11 still here, keeping me on my toes! Although I wont lie..I am keeping my eye out for another long haired piggy or one with extra needs, I'm finding I have far too much time on my hands without her.
We were actually looking into getting some nice canvases, just can't decide which pictures, as I seem to have taken hundreds over the years!
 
oh and you can get loads of different sized ones. i got 2small one for christmas and they're so cute
