hi guys just need to offload I'm so upset nad i know that yoou lot will understand.
i just had a look at david and his eye is half shut compared to the other one and its weeping.
Craig still got his patch on his face (although it looks better than what it did).
Iv rang pets at home and they have told me to take them to the vets and they will pay so they are both booked in for 5pm. iv only had them a week feel like they are both going to be poorly all the time its not fun I'm such an animal lover as well i feel like iv been constantly worried since i have had them.
Hey honey I had this when I first started out too. I got a baby from P@H to go with the pair I had got from somewhere else and in less than a week she passed away but not before infecting my other 2 with the illness and keeping us up day and night trying to help her. I felt very harrassed like you being an animal lover.
BUT that was a very isolated thing that stopped after this. You will get the odd thing but you'll also be able to nip it in the bud yourself most of the time.
I hope this passes soon for you! They are bound to be able to help you at the vet.
thanks guys they both seem happy enough, but i cant leave them with these ailments to get worse.its most upsetting.
iv noticed a few little nibbly bits missing off their ears to. I'm not being disrespectful to pets at home as were you can get any animal from they can fall ill but I'm really dissappointed with them. Luckily my friend is the manager there and has said they will pay the bill but still it doesnt compensate for buying a poorly animal iv had them both a week. i dont want to look back on what iv done though because i am glad iv got them they are beautiful x)
They would give you the vets fees anyway (they did me) as they have sold you poorly animals. It sounds like treatable stuff to me. When is your appointment?
he had a look at craig said he looks ok and to keep using the cannestan craig weighs 540g
had a look at david he weighs 380g...said he thinks he has an infection as his eye is quite red and also he had a scabby nose so he has had an injection and has to go back on wednesday. the vet also said he MAY have hayfever and in that case what the hell am i going to do!
iv booked them in and i will take them both again xx i am just hoping they are both ok... they seem ok although david isnt impressed with that injection he has just had hes a bit peeved i think. xx
There are a few pigs with hayfever on here. I am not sure what you can do but I *think* some members buy dust free hay or offer readigrass instead. Not 100% but it's manageable.
What was the injection?
Did she give you eye drops?
It may be worth posting in health and illness with this about his eye so you can get some replies from people who have dealth with this.
Are both of yours the same age? It's quite a weight difference if that's the case...
Hope they both pick up and Wednesday isn't long now.
the injection was terramycin la inj 100ml.. (thats what it says on the sheet) and dexafort....
I havent got any eye drops he was pondering whether to give them me but they are going back on wednesday.
He was good with them asking me have i noticed any sneezing but david sneezed whilst i was there at the vets and he sneezed before but other than that not noticed anything.
Both are the same age.. there is a size difference craig looks really fat compared to david... do you think thats something to be concerned about... they both look very different if you look at their piccies. david looks like a hedgehog.
