Before I start. A big hello from me, I havnt been on for a bit, due to work/school run commitments and catching a nasty cold. Hope you are all well

Well today. The sun is out, its beeeaaauuuutiful. So out go my 6 pigglies so I can do a general cleanout of their abodes. About 2.30 this afternoon I'm sitting on my garden chair having a cuddle with Bee. Then my cat Ty jumped up and startled her. My god she moved so fast out of my grip(shes sitting on a towel)She went right through the gap between the slats on the back of the chair. I grabbed her as fast as I could, and managed to have a hold of her hiney trying to get her back the way she went. That wasnt working. So while still holding her backend I reached over(all kackhanded) and managed to get her from the back of the chair and gently pull her through that way and then pass her over the top of the chair. The pair of us were shaking like a bloody leaf. But I comforted her and she soon settled down again. An hour later I'm thinking you know what my leg is sore. I pulled up my left leg of my shorts and I have 2 really deep scratches from where she moved so fast.
Dear god I hope that doesnt happen again.:{

Oh what a horrible experience! Thank goodness nothing bad happened and all is well now.

Wow,you were lucky - you forget how fast they can move - the first day I got Bumble when he was 3 weeks old,:)) he was sitting on my lap when I just sniffed - he had obviously never heard a sniff before and shot off like a rocket! - I remembered to hold him when I sneezed,but a little sniff I didnt even think about.

Bee is fine. Ty just scarpered off and my leg is bloody sore. But all 3 of us are fine n dandy. I was like omg omg omg ooooooooooooooo. I was in the garden on my own as well. hahaaha

Well done you for the quick reflexes... they can be nippy little things when they chose to be!

Aww poor bee and poor *. Naughty Ty LOL.
I am lucky enough to have a cat that is afraid of piggies, she will sniff through the bars but as soon as piggy moves she runs off and every time she walks past the cage she will give it a wide berth LOL a cat that's afraid of a rodent whatever next

So does Ty normally. She had a sniff of plop the other day and neither flinched. I think she was just being curious as to whom I had on my lap, and jumped up for a nosey. So not only was I scared half to death so were Bee and Ty.rolleyes
