There is nothing wrong with your piggy @jeremyjh

All piggies have a bald spot behind each ear, some piggies it's easier to spot than on others. The mottled colouring is down to it bordering light and dark hair as the skin generally reflects the hair colour.

Hi!

I agree with @Lady Kelly . You have discovered the bald patch behind his ear. When you look on the other side you will find the same patch there. You only have to worry if they don't have the same individual shape. ;)

I understand that concern @jeremyjh - I took my Jemimah to the vet when I first had her as I was worried about the bald patch.
I was reassured it’s normal - this was my pre- forum days so I didn’t have anybody else to ask.
 
My bad- I thought it was on his back! Yes like said before, all piggies have bald spots behind their ears, just like we do
