Hair suddenly gone short?

This is a wierd question lol but I have to ask!

This morning I fed my peruvian guinea pig as usual, and usually she has a long wispy elvis like fringe on her head (in avatar pic) but today her hair looks as though it has been trimmed with scissors it is now short at the front@)

It is very short now at the front, and she looks different and I haven't cut her hair.

my question is can hair break off and cause this in longhaired breeds? or could her cagemates have nibbled it?

I would say her cage mate(s) have been doing a spot of their own hairdressing & have barbered her

It seems that you have a barber on your hands.
My peruvian likes to barber himself...he does the sides and his legs, and have a loooong tail on his lower back where he is unable to reach. I have tried everything to get him to stip, but he is persistent. A bath usually helps, maybe add a drop of lavener oil to her shampoo, and hope it helps.
