Hairy's having a wash!

This is Hairy, our hairless guinea pig (well, he belongs to my man, Simon). :D He's about two years old and he lives in our kitchen (my other 25 are out in the shed since they are the usual furry variety). I took this pic this afternoon. As you can see Hairy's got four or his six rubber nail caps on - he has them to stop him leaving scrapes on his skin when he has a scratch. I think he looks like an old tart with false nails. ;D He's an amazing character, very noisy and endlessly friendly with bounds of energy for exploring.

you need to paint the nail covers red or gold and he is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO cute!

I think you mam should get red and green nail caps next time, so you can be in the Xmas spirit too.

Good idea - but they only do them in black, red, blue, purple, pink or clear... no green! :( I guess we could do him in red when we replace them before Christmas! ;D

I'm not usually a fan of skinny pigs, but he is cute. i love his big eyes, and big floppy ears :smitten:
