I spent some time with the boys this morning before work, filling up their hay racks, nuggets and getting veg in.

Hamish loved the green beans... I've never seen them disappear so fast! He eats constantly. If it's green and long he'll eat it. I've never known any pig eat so much hay, readigrass and other long green things. At least it's good for his teeth!

Maybe I ought to cut his other veg up into long strips too?!
 
Yes I agree, where does it all go to inside their tummies, how does it all fit, I put huge handfuls of hay in their hutch twice a day and there's not much left in the morning. :))

I have a funky tool that makes carrots and cucumber into springy spirals Harold loves them I hang them from his cage LOL

LOL i was in Morrisons shopping for piggy veggies there was a bloke giving a demonstration everyone who watched it got one, I just happened to be walking past and got handed one LOL, the idea was so you would buy a set of his knives I just took my funky gadget and walked off thinking wow this will make veggie time fun :(|):(|)
 
I need a springy thing. Mish would love it....

I've just realised I'm an idiot and mis spelt Hamish's name in teh thread title... oOPS!


The boys had their regular Sunday weigh in last night and Mish has put on 45g since last week. He is piling it on now he's had his dental. Way to go Hamish!
 
Aw, my lot love all things that are green to! Green beans are a big fave - especially for Lily. She will wander around the shed snapping up all the green beans before the others can get to them, squeaking loudly to ward off the others, and literally scoff them down! I've even seen each other them at some point tug a bean out of anothers mouth.. and this has happened on numerous occasions!
Bless them, they are so cute to watch. :')
