I was just at the pet store today and I saw a hammock.I read below and it said it can be for guinea pigs.Do you think guinea pigs would love it if I put one in there. If I did get it i would put it low to the ground. But what do you all think?

i have seen memebers with hammocks for their piggies and their piggies seem to love them. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: but don't ask me as i have bought my piggies beds, hammocks, and they ignore them and just bury themselves under the straw :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff: you could always do what i did and buy some for your piggies and try them on it and if they don't like them donate them to the animal welfare or a rescue O0 good luck hoping your piggies aren't fussy like mine O0

Never seen a pig in a hammock,my friend runs a ferret rescue & she started making her own , the ferrets all pile into the hammock & curl up together to sleep, they look so cute but dunno if it would work with piggies ?

Doyle(RIP) used to have a hammock but I think he knew when I got my camera out because he used to be underneath it...

As you can see from the date it was taken a good few years ago, he was a rescue piggy, he suffered from really bad weapy eyes, as you can see in the picture.
If you are to get one I would advice it only being a few inches of the ground incase someone did roll/fall out.

The girls in my C&C use to have a ledge...

Please excuse the messy cage, and they used it regular, for either hiding underneath or getting within the fleece.

I was thinking about them falling of them and getting their feet caught?

Oh I see what you mean. I would just ensure it was only an inch or so off the floor - it couldn't be too high anyway as the piggy wouldn't be able to get in!

I think most piggies love them as they are really snuggly and cosy.
