Teenage Guinea Pig
Does anyone use a handheld vacuum for cleaning the pigs ? I've got a budget for £25 x
I'm assuming you mean cleaning the cages out, not cleaning the piggies themselves?Does anyone use a handheld vacuum for cleaning the pigs ? I've got a budget for £25 x
Lol my cat used to love being vaccumed with the hand held vaccum and would even lie down in front of it while i was vaccuming up crumbs for her "special massage", admittedly it had rubbish suction so it was just like having a pat down but she didn't even mind the noise. I'm pretty sure the piggies would not appreciate though lol.I'm assuming you mean cleaning the cages out, not cleaning the piggies themselves?![]()
I have some weird visions going through my head at the moment....
I've got one from Aldi, I'm sure it didn't cost more than £25. It works ok on poop patrol but easily blocks up when a strand of hay finds its way in.
To be honest, I find it easier using a dustpan and brush and fingers![]()
It works during the day but at night they decide to run around in the cage and scatter their pooh everywhere and I got to the point I can't leave any tunnels in the cage as the pee and crap all in them...Jecf I wish my herd did that...
I use an old hand held Dyson that must be 9 years old, just for poo cleaning. It makes the job of poo picking so much easier, even if I have to empty it twice and it sometimes gets clogged from stray bits of hay.
