We don’t know her exact birthday but we’ve made her birthday and gotcha day the same, (12 July) as she was described as four when we got her from the rescue two years ago, so..
Happy sixth birthday to our big hearted lady Dottie, and happy second anniversary of moving in with us!
Despite her serious health issues (she has an enlarged heart and chronic heart disease) she has been begging at the bars and munching on her favourite snacks. When she’s feeling particular entitled (which is most days to be honest), she can be found headbutting her hidey because she would like table service, thank you very much.
She got a special vegetable birthday cake (we only gave her half at a time) and although she was confined to her smaller cage in the cooler room, she seemed to have a nice day.
