What do people think about them
Have got a bag but havn’t tried them yet

Mine weren't overly fussed with them so settled on science selective.

I have got m on the food that the pet shop had m on but will be putting m on the other food when the bag starts to run out

We use Harringtons - it comes out well on the balance of nutritional values and affordability. Piggies love it and wheek for it! We overlapped the two feed types when they came to us, putting some of both in the bowl and gradually reducing the proportion of the old food until it was used up. I gave too much at first but now know they only need a tablespoonful each to make sure they are eating enough hay!

I feed Harrington's. I feed it in a mix with heygates rabbits choice. Some really like it and others eat it but are not too fussed. It is a good pellet though and a great price.

Mine are on Harringtons, goes down very well and is an OK food.

I’ve fed Harrington’s for the last few years and my piggies like them
Are your piggies ok with the calcium @Claire W? I've always been worried to get them, always stick to the grainless SS or zooplus JR farm ones as a bit paranoid with Rupert and his bladder! x

I fed my last pair Harringtons along with Burgess mint. They preferred the Burgess but they'd eat the Harringtons quite happily...though I suspect they'd have eaten anything quite happily, they weren't exactly fussy.

I was told that they wasn’t too high in calcium 🤔 but they only have about a tablespoon each a day and Ellen (who’s my bladder girl) has always eaten them and never really had a bad bladder from them x

Might give them a try, I think I worry too much if they haven't got 'grainless' on the bag nowadays! Thanks x

Maddy!

I have not seen you in here for ages, welcome back .

Sadly I have no advice on your nugget question as that brand is not available over here so have never tested it.

If this helps. Places that i know sell harringtons are

Asda
Co op
Wiĺkos

Also your are looking out for Alfalfa on the back of the pack, look out for Lucerne aswell, its just a different name for alfalfa

They are on great and small nuggets at the moment as thats what the pet shop had them on but i will be putting them on Harringtons when they almost out of great and small

Wilkos stopped selling harringtons some time ago and replaced it with their own brand. I've also heard that Asda have stopped selling it although I'm not 100% sure it's all Asdas.

You’ll need to mix the new with the old for while. I started 50/50 then increased it gradually. It’s takes them a while for them to get used to the new food xx

Our four piggies eat harringtons. The girls took some (A LOT of) convincing to eat them! I get mine on amazon.
