Our piggies need some kind of run .. i did want to build one of the CC ones as i think they look FAB !

Thinking rationally about it and looking at the space we have got i need somthing that i can fold away when they have finished in it .. flooring isnt to much of a problem as i have laminate so can add some non slip matting and newspaper topped with a fleece but am not sure about the sides ..

Has anyone made a run that you have to fold away ? if so how did you go about it and what did you use ?

Thanks ")

Early learning centre sell a collapsible ball pool, which some of us are using for an indoor run. They were selling it for around £9.I line the base with a waterproof tablecloth, then put fleece on top.My guineas love it.

Thanks for that .. ive just had another look at them and they seem very good
Only thing that puts me off is the delivery cost I'm a bit of a tight wad lol ... shame we dont have one closer to where i live ..

Maybe i could order it and then try and figure out somthing bigger when the piggies are bigger .....

you havent said how many piggies you have...... at the moment for my rescues I'm using a dog cage.......... like the ones used for travelling and benching at shows like crufts, they have a metal liner so easy to keep clean, plenty of rails to attach water bottles too, plenty of room for boredom breakers like tubes and bridges.

i just half line it with vet bed then if they get too hot they have the metal liner to lay on.

also they collapse down really easily, and in the summer as long as you put something over the roof of the cage can be used as a temporary outdoor run just take the liner out and hey presto grass!

if you have any other pets this solution also keeps them out of harms way from others in your home.

hope this helps!
