I had mackerel for dinner last night. I picked Fluffkin up for a cuddle straight away and she settled on my chest as usual as I laid on the sofa, and she started trying to lick my mouth! I have got the occasional lip-lick from her before but this time she seemed really interested, snuffling away and generally seeming a bit more interested than a guinea pig should! Boogie had a go as well but I'd had a cup of peppermint tea by then so I probably didn't have such strong fish-breath! It was so funny and yucky at the same time
I can't remember if I read it on saw it on telly, but some South American families feed their guinea stock fish scraps (they live in a hut or even in their kitchen), they said it fattened them up and gave them a nice flavour :'( :'( :'( poor little chunks. It must be so bad for them though, don't know how they'd digest it :-\
Anyway, Fluffkin made me laugh so I thought I'd share!
