Do anyone on here know anywhere good for decent hay bales in Cardiff or Newport South Wales
Thanks

I don't know any farms, but I buy my hay on-line from Timothyhay.co.uk There are a few others, like Haybox and Strawandhay (or Hayandstraw, not sure which).
It's way cheaper than buying bags in the shops, and it's much better quality.

I have 11 pigs and a few rabbits so looking for a cheaper alternative as they get Timothy hay daily so looking for a bale for bedding x

If you know any horsey people or have stables near by asking there is always a good place to start.
When I live in the UK I actually used to just buy bales of hay direct from my local stables - they always had hundreds in the barn, and it was on my way home from work.

If you have a local facebook selling group try putting a post on there for small hay bales - there's usually someone who can supply them.

The other option is to search for horse livery places and see if they'll sell you some. Before we moved I used to buy directly from a farm at the bottom of a village near Chepstow.

Now we've moved I sourced small bale hay via the local facebook selling group who put me in touch with a livery yard owner on a farm where they produce all their own hay.
