Our pigs like them-it takes AGES for them to get through one though so the last bit usually gets thrown away. I don't think I would but them again.

They are compressed blocks of hay. (usually in a round or square shape like a cake/cookie). See here: http://www.pet-supermarket.co.uk/products-Oxbow-Hay-Cakes_CN153009.htm they come in different shapes and sizes and makes.

i use them everyday as i have hayfever and these are perfect they are not dusty at all and the pigs love them, they smell really fresh and it only takes them a day to get through one. (it says to give 1 pig 3/4 of a cookie each day and i do but they cant eat that much, between the three of them they can only eat one.) they are great!
and i give them loose hay when they are out in the run as a treat

Ours love them as their main hay is the Burgess timothy hay with herbs and the hay cakes are usually meadow grass so offer an alternative. I tend to break them in half so they get a start on them.
