how often can I feed hay cookies? Currently I give mine one cookie to share for both pigs once a week. Is this ok or should I feed less often?

If it's just hay with nothing else added you can feed as much as you like, however, I found they fell apart easily and left a lot of mess with the hay being in very short strands. I prefer to treat with some readigrass or a 'treat' hay rather than cookies. I'm assuming they have regular hay available at all times as well? If they like them and you have no problem with them then feed when you like.

:D I have also found that hay cookies make a mess as well. The pigs drag them across the floor and leave a hay trail! Have you got the Rosewood Naturals ones in a box? It says that they are "main diet hay". If you prefer to feed the cookies rather than loose hay, I don't really see why you shouldn't. Hay is hay. And the piggies certainly love the cookies!

I would feed them as a treat alongside ordinary hay. I would never replace hay with them as I don't think they are that easy to graze on and having had tow piggies with dental issues I am really conscious of high hay diet to get them wearing their teeth down.
