Finally ordered some hay off of hay for pets. The Timothy and Rye hay. 9.5 for £16. Well It came and the bag is huge :o it weighs a ton. I remember buying a tester pack from them and all 3 of their hays were a hit. So decided to go with the Timothy. I just hope they still like it! At the moment both rabbits and guineas are more interested in their pellets rolleyes

Got some pics of the bag and the piggies.

At the moment, for some reason, they are going berserk and racing around the cage, craziest popcorning I have ever seen them both do. Went down to get a drink in the kitchen and all I can hear is thump thump thump from my room :))

Hay for Pets is great but I've gone back to Oxbow Timothy as my piggies prefer it and it's sooo greeeeeen.

That is the one I use. I think it is great. My piggies and bunny loves it. I like the way it is not really small so they have more of a challenge eating their way through it.

This is my first order, I would have gone for the Ings hay but they are out of it at the mo. So I decided to go for the Timothy one.

is the hay dust extracted? if so, which do i go for? x

I think it is, I haven't noticed any dust plumes with mine so far.

There is the Ings hay, Timothy and Rye, and Meadow. You can buy tester packs to see what ones your pigs/buns like the most. I think they are out of Ings hay for the moment but they have a new harvest coming in within the next few weeks

lovely thanks :)
i might try the timothy too, at the mo mine are on huwbryn meadow hay which is 2.99 for a fair size bag
its the only one that doesnt worsen my hayfever!
i bought a huge bag from the range and it was awful , it made my chest really bad!
i gave it away :)

Worth checking with the hayforpets people gingersusie, I don't recall it saying it was dust extracted. I got the big bag like littleeskimo and occasionally notice a bit but I wouldn't say it's bad. The guy who runs it is pretty good on comms.

I have hayfever but since I take benadryl most days anyway, I'm not sure I'd notice!

I think they would be worth trying out. I mean even though I don't have hay fever, whenever I use the cheaper hay for like bedding and stuff I always get a really tickly nose and I can smell it really strongly. That sort of dustiness. But when I opened this bag up and pulled some out it seemed really sort of 'dry' and dust free :)

I bought the 3 tester bags today can't wait for it to be delivered Barnum will love it!
