Hay issues

So I just got my piggy’s and I’m finding it difficult to get hay to feed them. No pet stores here sell them. Can I substitute with dry grass and vegetables?

Have you tried farms maybe?...I’m not sure where else you’d get them otherwise. Or if there are horses anywhere near where you live you could maybe ask them where they get their hay from.

@Siikibam has come up with the best suggestion. Horse owners are very fussy where the hay comes from.

Good luck and hope you find something. I have to say I don’t have a clue where I would find hay back home. You can also give them grass in the meantime and vegetables.

Sorry I forgot to say. If you haven’t give them grass before then give a very small handful and increase slowly. Too much in one go when they’re not used to it can give them tummy ache.
