I’m looking for good hay recommendations I can get shipped online, anything through Amazon prime is ideal.

I have currently got my hay from Amazon. As I can get it same day order by 10pm. Which is Excel feeding hay with dandelion and marigold which from other topic I have read is more aligned to being a treat. Also may not be the best for pigs to have for some additional bedding and burrowing
Piles I put in so far is soon trampled down.

it is 4.96 a kilo and the price seems reasonable. As this is their main feed I am wanting to be doubley sure they are getting the right food.
And the chance to enjoy using it for foraging and lying in/on

so i was thinking of a better hay for bedding and eating and then maybe this for a treat once a day.
Herbal Topped Hand Cut Hay (P&P included)

The 2 types I find online most are Timothy and meadow hay

Thanks

I know that some people use pillow wad hay which is available on Amazon But to be honest any meadow hay is absolutely fine provided it’s fresh, green and sweet smelling.
meadow hay is fine for eating but also for running through, bedding and playing in.
timothy can be too sharp for them to be running though it.

i personally have a subscription with Haybox and ive not found a better quality hay yet.
I don’t buy herby hays, i just plain hay and then buy forage from Piggie Parcels to mix in to hay for them to forage through

I think haybox is available on Amazon as well, we have subscription with them too and the piggies love it!

I recommend timothy hay. My piggies absolutely love the soft timothy hay.

I have a subscription of Meadow hay too from Haybox. My piggies love it!

They do sell in Amazon too, although it is more expensive compared to buying it directly from their website.

I love timothy hay. Co. UK
I get the timothy and the Orchard grass from there, its free delivery and usually comes next day if ordered before a certain time! 😍
