I tend to feed my piggies the oxbow blend. I’m just wondering what are some good ‘treat’ hay or do you mix it up, I wanna keep there hay exciting for them.

My two get bedded on meadow hay (the live in a shed). They eat Oxbow Timothy and orchard grass blend, they love it, they eat it and I don’t dare ever change now I have found one that they really enjoy. I sometimes get the burgess dandelion hay and them a handful or two at a time, but I don’t buy it all that often.

I feed mine Kaytee Timothy Hay.
What I do is I would hide their pellets in the hay and they usually go search for it. I also put small pieces of veggies in the hay and they work on finding it. It takes them some time to find small pieces of veggies and pellets.
It is more fun for me to watch them go search for food in the hay. I also think it gets them thinking and moving, which is good for them.

DH reacts to hay dust, so we've been ordering from Dust Free Hay - which probably isn't absolutely dustless, but is as close as we've found so far. They have a big tray of soft meadow hay to burrow in and some English timothy to nibble on. They eat both, but seek out the seed heads on the timothy as though it were a narcotic. Maybe if you're a piggy it is!

Alfafa king timothy hay is great as is Oxbow Orchard grass
I give alfalfa king timothy, i do worry about eye pokes but it hasnt happened yet in the space of around 3 years. Its also so tightly packed it works out cheaper than any other hay

I bought Kaytee Timothy Hay Plus Variety Pack! It has five different packages of timothy hay with either mango, mint, cranberries, marigolds or carrots mixed in. My piggies seem to love it and you just add a little bit into their hay every other day to give them a little extra flavor.

Thank you for the reply I’m going to try mix there hay to give them a bit of variety :D
