hello there, i always order the same hay for my guinea pig and she always loves it however i’ve opened a new bag today and it looks extra dry.
it’s more yellow and there’s just a few green pieces , it almost looks like straw...
is it ok for her to eat?
image.webpalso i dont know why but it looks less yellow on camera but most of its extremely dry .

It's still fine to eat. Sometimes mine will eat the cheaper lower quality bedding hay over the lovely fresh green eating hay. Just make sure it doesn't smell bad or has any mouldy black bits. Where do you buy it from? Might be wroth trying some farm shops instead or even a home bargains or b and m. They sell some quite good hay for the price

As long as it smells fresh and not mouldy its still fine to feed.

I do agree though, I do think the Burgess hay is very expensive for quantity.
I have a subscription with Haybox.club. its the best quality hay I have come across if you've got the storage space for larger quantities!
