Hi, I've decided to try haybox after all the recommendations and can't decide between meadow or 50:50 meadow and timothy. Any thoughts?

We normally have some of each. Mine think the timothy seed heads are the Best Thing Ever, and the vet is keen for them to have some coarse hay to keep their teeth neat and tidy - but the meadow hay is lovely for snuggling into and they like eating that too. I'd get the 50:50 and then you get to try them both and see what you think :)

Good idea thanks. Hope mine love the seed heads too 😊

We get 50:50 meadow and timothy, it took a couple of weeks for the piggies to get used to the timothy as it is quite coarse but has very tasty seed heads! Now they love it, they get the soft meadow in the hay trays everyday and on the floor everywhere after a cage clean, and a ceremonial pile of the timothy in their dedicated 3x2 hay room twice a day after every meal which they make a big occasion of eating together like its the main course in a posh dinner party banquet after they have had their hay and veggies as the starter course :)

Tonight we have a 50:50 hay herd split, Jezzy, Blod and Puggle have dragged the Haybox meadow hay out of the haytray onto the floor to eat, while Clover, Theo and Piggle are going for the Haybox timothy in the hayroom!
