Poor Meg has been bloaty for the past few days after cabbage. We are now down to only Green Beans, Pepper, Carrot and Parsley that doesn't cause her to have extremely loose poos or bloat her. But she has got worse tonight

She is on Zantac and Metachlopromide and Infacol and we are going to be massaging her every few hours. If anyone could spare some healing vibes for our special little girl that would be appreciated

Fingers firmly crossed! Please stay off veg completely and be very careful when re-introducing it. Bloaty piggies can have a dodgy digestion for a few weeks after an acute phase.

Oh poor Meg, keeping everything crossed for her here too and Fuzzy send healing wheeks. I agree with Wiebke about staying off the veg completely for now, is she a good hay eater?

Thanks all and Thank you Mr Falken for your cheque - it will be taken to the bank :)

She has poo'd after alot of massaging and passed gas so things are moving through. She has a very delicate eco system as she is 'not normal' in any sense of the phrase. The infacol has really picked her up and she is more active. Luckily our vet keeps us supplied with relevant drugs because of these episodes so all was on hand.

@Helen, she only eats Timothy hay rolleyes expensive tastes....

Oh poor little baby. I really hope she gets better soon. Good luck princess.

Ahh healing vibes to meggy moo hope she is feeling better soon. Definitely agree with the others-would only give hay, pellets &water &add veg back into her diet gradually one at a time in small amounts to let her gut recover.

Get well soon from the girls &I. Xx
&a hug for stressy piggy parents.

Yes, she'll be off veg for a few days for sure. You wouldn't believe the tiny amount she has... Other pigs would crack at her portion size, I do feel so sorry for her. She doesn't enjoy the tummy massages lol.

Sending my best wishes to Meg. I hope she's better soon. xx

Ah she has good taste then. Glad she seems brighter and things are moving too. Our vet gives us meds for when Millie has one of her episodes too.

Lots of healing vibes for Meggy pants and gentle wheeks from my piggie clan xx

Cut out green beans!

It came out of nowhere.....but these veggies had a frighteningly sudden bloat reaction with one of my female piggies...which thankfully emeprid and zantac sorted within 48 hours

Best wishes Meggy
